3.1 IR&D – Explosive detection, communications subsystems, on Test Team – LPD17, acoustic signal processing (Mr. W. Eaton). FORELL won several MDA SBIRS in the area of target discrimination and Kill Vehicle Field of View management.
3.2 Systems engineering – FORELL is supporting the DD(X) Human Systems Integration and Architecture teams and is supporting the definition of processes leading to definition of automation needs. Lead on sell-of of Swiss ATC. Provided study on all the sensors for the Coast Guard for L3 in order to define a system and architecture for Homeland Defense. 3.3 Prototyping - Under a MDA sponsored SBIR, FORELL is prototyping a new software estimation and risk assessment capability that is based on decision architectures. Mr. G. Corbitt was the technical director of the Navy SURTASS program.
3.4 Modeling – Expert in simulation and modeling of complex systems using agent based technology and reinforcement learning capabilities (Dr. J. Clymer). Dr. Clymer teaches complex adaptive systems.
3.6 Software Engineering – Co-founder, Ms. E. Gianoulis, came from Hughes/Raytheon SEI 5 level software development and process organization. She has extensive process and metric background.
3.8 Human Factors Engineering –FORELL is the lead for the DD(X) HSI Style Guide. FORELL is supporting the automation and task-oriented approach activities to satisfy DD(X) manning goals.

3.12 IS/IA/IT Support - BearingPoint was involved in improving policies and procedures to increase personal property accountability at all Navy sites. BearingPoint assisted NAVAIR with the development of an Information Technology Master Plan. BearingPoint developed an enterprise-wide web-based application for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition Strategic Business Management Program office. BearingPoint leveraged its Infrastructure and Enterprise Management expertise to design and develop a comprehensive central operations center for the US Army Material Command’s Army Research Lab. BearingPoint implemented the SAP R/3 Enterprise Resource Planning system at 126 site worldwide for NAVAIR.
3.20 Program Support – BearingPoint provided project management, planning, and performance measurement services for the Army’s Enterprise Information Systems and IT programs.

3.1 R&D - LLD provided engineering, logistics, and technical support to NSWC, Carderock: evaluated their Integrated Digital Environment
3.5 system Design Documentation & Technical Data Support – LLD developed the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and the associated process for NSWC Crane to implement a standard methodology for converting technical manuals to digital format.
3.6 Software Development - LLD supported the development of two early data warehousing prototypes for the Marine Corps air Group in Yuma.
3.12 IS/IA/IT Services - LLD provided support in the areas of deployment, installation, planning and configuration management for LANTFLT installations for SPAWAR.
LLD provides direct LAN support for the NAVSEA LAN administrators. LLD analyzes, researches, recommends, and implements NAVSEA network engineering solutions.

RAYTHEON Raytheon has experience in all the functional areas. We only provided a summary example of the breadth of experience Raytheon can contribute.

3.1 R&D – Raytheon is the lead system integrator for all of NSWC DD(X) shipboard electronics.
3.2 Systems Engineering – Raytheon is the prime contractor for the Continuing Engineering Design/Development (CEDD) contract and is responsible for the design, develop, test, and deliver functional and performance improvements.
3.4 Prototyping – Raytheon as part of the DD(X) LSI responsibilities is designing and developing numerous prototypes and is in the process of delivering 12 pre-production EDMs.
3.6 Software Engineering – Raytheon is working closely with NSWCDD to create, test, and support the Navy’s next generation sea based war-fighting software program in support of Integrated Warfare System mission objectives.
3.7 Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability – Raytheon is the prime contractor, designer, and developer of the US Navy’s Ship Self Defense System (SDSS). Raytheon is to provide the Design Agent engineering services to implement program upgrades to include product improvements based on RM&A performance and trend analysis, modeling, and cost performance trade studies.

3.2 Engineering Support – BAE Systems is responsible for the support of USN and USMC aircraft and weapons systems, airborne weapons and support equipment for NAVAIR 3.1 competency and its support to NAVAIR PMAs.
3.16 Acquisition Logistics – BAE Systems provides acquisition and sustainment logistics support to PMA-261, PMA-265 & NAVAIR Mobile Facilities Program.

3.2 Engineering Support – iBASEt provides system analysis and engineering for integration of warfare systems into Naval Aircraft and aviation subsystems.
3.5 Documentation – iBASEt prepares required programmatic documentation and provides technical support for preparation of briefings to include updates to the Naval Enlisted Classification (NEC) system, production of technical computer graphics and other support suitable for the Department of Navy and DoD level presentations.
3.14 Test – iBASEt provides test and evaluation engineering to NAWCAD.

3.4 Fabrication – ITA has supported the Navy and Coast Guard by rapidly fabricating and deploying port security barriers, electronic harbor security, and floating booms and barriers.
3.6 Software Engineering – ITA designs, develops and produces advanced interactive multimedia training applications for Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) and many more.
3.18 Training – ITA provides advanced interactive multi-media training application to support initial, sustainment and reinforcement training for a wide range of DoD organizations such as PM NBC Defense Systems, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army Chemical School.
